School Counselor need to become actively engaged in helping students through the clear standards to become better students.  By teaching students the academic standards in through the American School Counseling standards, teaching the students the career and work standards and teaching and helping students develop into well rounded personal and social people.  School counselors are assisting students in becoming career and work ready.

School counselors play a critical and vital role in assisting educators, administrators, teachers, parents, and most importantly our students to meet the new common core standards.
