Professional Development

One of our primary goals of PSCA is to "provide professional development relevant to the current and emerging practices of professional school counseling."  According to ASCA's Ethical Standards for School Counselors, a counselor "strives through personal initiative to maintain professional competence including technological literacy and to keep abreast of professional information. 

Professional and personal growth are ongoing throughout the counselor's career.  Here you will find links and resources specific to professional development as provided, supported, or recognized by PSCA.

This includes resources on government relations, the PSCA annual conference, LDA, Summer Academy, the Western Regional Conference, and more.
