High School Counselor. Minimum Qualifications: PA Certified as Secondary Guidance Counselor; 3-5 years experience preferred; good standing relative to Act 48 credits; Highly Qualified to teach content assigned. Position has emphasis on college admissions counseling working with grades 9-12. Applicant needs to be well versed in college/career planning and have strong knowledge of competitive college admissions. Needs working knowledge of ASCA and NACAC standards; work with state branches of professional organizations preferred. Act 34, 151 and FBI clearances required.
